The Brazil Football Team is a United Soccer Worldcup Team

The Brazil football team are the champions of five Soccer Worldcup games, and are the only team that have made an appearance at all 19 World Cup matches.  It's therefore likely that they are considered one of the favorites to walk away with the South Africa Worldcup 2010 trophy.
Brazil hosted the 1950 Soccer Worldcup, which ended in disappointment as they were beaten in the finals by Uruguay.  As proof of their unhappiness, the Brazilian soccer team has never worn white soccer shirts since that year.  In 1958 in Sweden, they became the first team to win the Soccer Worldcup in another continent.

The Brazilian soccer team's peak performance was at the 1970 Mexico World Cup where they welcomed their third Soccer Worldcup triumph.  But unfortunately, this victory was not to be repeated again until the 1994 USA World Cup.

At the 1998 France Soccer Worldcup, they were once again listed as the favorites; though this was not to be the outcome, with the infamous Ronaldo story at the forefront of every person's mind.  But in 2002, after Ronaldo was cleared, all was forgotten at the Korea / Japan Soccer Worldcup and once again the Brazil football team rose to the challenge and won the championship.

The Brazilian soccer team is robust and has a penetration of talent.  Alongside Spain, they are once more ranked as the South Africa Worldcup 2010 favorites, to attain the Jules Rimet Trophy.

Brazil Football Stars

It's truly hard to pick a handful of players amongst the Brazilian soccer team which is loaded with talent.  However during the Brazil soccer 2009 period, a few legends became clear.  First, the exceptional goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who has played in 18 Soccer Worldcup games.  His safe hands continue to be an important characteristic of the team's success.  Kaka has grown to be a provision of motivation for the Brazilian soccer team following his fabulous performance during the Brazil soccer 2009 season which resulted in his commendable claim of the Adidas Golden Ball.  And of course Luis Fabiano's world class performance with five goals including a priceless brace in their win over the USA, totaling 9 Soccer Worldcup goals to his name.

Brazil's Coach

Born October 31, 1963 in Ijuí, Brazil, Carlos Caetano Bledorn Verri (better known as Dunga) is no foreigner to Brazil football.  As a heated and forceful midfielder, Dunga certainly experienced his fair share of emotions as a Brazilian soccer team player.  At the ripe age of 30, he captained the team to victory at the 1994 USA World Cup.

After 6 years of retirement, Dunga accepted the job as the Brazilian soccer team coach in August 2006, despite his insufficient experience as a coach.  In his initial months he received a great deal of negativity as a result of his alternative approach.  However, he dismissed much of the doubt when he led A Canarinha to victory at the 2007 Copa America and the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, as well as concluding top of their group in the South Africa Worldcup 2010 qualifiers.  Dunga has said numerous times that he plans to retire at the end of this season, so let's see what happens and who his successor will be.  It's anyone's speculation at this stage.
